Tour tickets are valid for the time and date as stated on the confirmation only.
Tour tickets are single use only.
All tour tickets are non-transferable and can only be used in the name of the passenger given at the time of reservation.
Changes to the date or time of all Machu Picchu tour reservations (excluding Inca Trail) can be made up until 6:00pm (Lima time) 30 days before or earlier the tour begins for no additional fee. Changes are subject to availability. Change requests must be via email to info@yapaexplorers.com and received prior to the time.
Non-notification of a desired change or notification for a change after this time has already occurred: will not be eligible for a change of tour date or any refund.
No Shows & Cancellations of Machu Picchu tour reservations (excluding Inca Trail) – If you cancel 60 days prior or earlier to the tour before 6:00 pm (Lima time), a 50% administration fee will apply. After this time there is a 100% no-show or cancellation fee. You must email info@yapaexplorers.com (include the name of the tour and the reservation number) to cancel this tour or to make any changes.
The terms 4 and 6 do not apply to Sacred Valley, Rainbow Mountain, Maras & Moray, City tours, for these consider the following information:
– Changes to the date or time of a reservation can be made up until 6:00pm (Lima time) on the day prior to your reservation for no additional fee, subject to availability. Change requests must be via email to info@yapaexplorers.com and received prior to the time.
– Non-notification of a desired change or notification for a change after this time has already occurred: will not be eligible for a change of tour date or any refund.
– No Shows & Cancellations of this tour – If you cancel the day prior to the tour before 6:00 pm (Lima time) or earlier, a 10% administration fee will apply. After this time, there is a 100% no-show or cancellation fee. You must email info@yapaexplorers.com (include the name of the tour and the reservation number) to cancel this tour or to make any changes.
The terms 4, 6 and 7 do not apply to Inca Trail 2 days and Inca Trail 4 days, consider the following information:
– Once booked it is not possible to make changes or cancel this tour.
– This is one of the most sought-after tours in the world. The strict policies on entry tickets, trail permits, and train tickets mean under no circumstances if it possible to offer a refund or name change on this tour.
– Non-notification of cancellation or notification of cancellation after this time has already occurred: will not be eligible for any refund.
Yapa Explorers shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind, including indirect or consequential loss or damage, arising directly or indirectly out of a cancellation or abandonment of, or delay to, any tour, however, caused.
Yapa Explorers shall not be liable for any shortening of the tour or failure to complete the tour for any reason including: sickness or illness of any kind to you or your party, weather-related issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Yapa Explorers reserves the right to refuse to carry any passenger, luggage or goods at its sole discretion.
Persons committing an illegal act or contravening Peruvian Health and Safety legislation (being a health danger to themselves or others) will be removed from the tour and no refund will be due.
Passengers under 18 years must travel with their parent(s), spouse or guardian. There must be at least 1 parent, spouse or guardian for every 2 passengers under 18 years old.
Proof of identification and age may be requested and failure to provide such proof may invalidate your ticket.
Yapa Explorers will not be liable for the sickness of, injury to, or death of, any passenger, or the loss of, or damage to, any personal effects, whether caused by Yapa Explorers´s negligence or otherwise. There is no travel insurance cover included in the price of a tour and Yapa Explorers recommends that you obtain travel insurance to cover any sickness, injury, or loss that may occur while you are partaking in a tour.
Yapa Explorers will endeavour to adhere to stated departure and arrival times but will not be liable for any failure to meet those times or for any cancellation or delay of Yapa Explorers’s services.
You agree to indemnify Yapa Explorers against any loss, damage or expense suffered or incurred by Yapa Explorers, its officers, employees, agents or related companies as a result of any claim by any third party whose claim arises from your tour or your acts or omissions while partaking in a tour.
Yapa Explorers will not be liable for breach of, or any failure to perform its obligations under, these terms and conditions where such breach or failure is caused by anything beyond Yapa Explorers´s reasonable control including, but not limited to tidal movements, water conditions, port closures, war, civil commotion, hostility, acts of terrorism, strike, lockout, other industrial acts, weather phenomena or other acts of God, or governmental regulation or direction. Also, Yapa Explorers shall not be liable for any fortuitous event or force majeure, as provided in section 1315 of the Peruvian Civil Code.
If any part of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal for any reason, they will be deemed to be amended by the addition or deletion of wording necessary to remove the invalid, unenforceable or illegal part, but otherwise to remain unchanged to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.
The legal relationship arising from this contract and every relationship arising between Yapa Explorers and their clients and / or users shall be governed and construed by the laws of the Republic of Peru.
The service reserve of Yapa Explorers involves submitting themselves to these terms and conditions, the laws of the Republic of Peru and the competence of the police, judicial and administrative authorities of the Republic of Peru.
